Discussion: Positive Vorticity Advection coming in this morning will bring a group of severe thunderstorms through the watch box … moving northeast across the area. Current short range guidance suggests instability will remain high, thus this is a large hail/damaging wind threat with any of the storms that hit.
Storms will continue to be severe, affecting the entire area over the day. If tornado dynamics develop more, this watch will be upgraded today … but other than that this will hold …
